The truth is out about David Schweikert and his so-called conservatism.
Sonoran Alliance exposed Schweikert by pointing out an Associated Press story from 1993 in which Schweikert proposed “to add 8 cents to the state tax on diesel fuel. That would raise the tax to 26 cents a gallon - one of the highest rates among western states.”
This inconvenient truth has RINOs in an uproar to defend Schweikert’s gas tax raising ways.
EspressoPundit says Schweikert was justified because he was working for the trucking lobby to waive a trucker fee.
BUT ESPRESSOPUNDIT IGNORES CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES!!!!
Instead of proposing a NEW TAX, Schweikert should have CUT SPENDING!
There’s a reason why EspressoPundit won’t acknowledge this fact. He’s a long-time friend of Schweikert’s and was the best man at Schweikert’s wedding.

Anyone who brags about an endorsement they sought from the AFL-CIO and calls themselves a conservative is full of it. David Schweikert and his gas-tax-raising ways cannot be trusted.
It was just a matter of time before Schweikert was exposed for what he really is... a tax hiking liberal!
Once people found out about the AFL-CIO endorsement, conservatives knew there was more to this guy than his republican sounding rhetoric. I am very disappointed in Right to Life for endorsing a guy just because he has raised some cash from out of state Club for Growth donors...
This race is quickly becoming a joke.
Schweikert is not a real conservatice and everyone knows it. I'm glad this finally has all come out.
Maybe the people of CD-5 will wake up and nominate a true conservative like Mark Anderson!
"JD" I agree with you Schweikert is no conservative!
But neither is Bitter-Smith with her pro-choice stance!
I never thought I would say this but the more I look at this field the more I think that Laura Knaperek might be who I vote for...
Even though she has lost to Harry two times already she is at least a true conservative...
