Knaperek Ready to Win the "War of Ideas"

In just the last week, Jim Ogsbury is running an ad on FOX NEWS that features the creepy NFVV-Keira Knightly Stalker and liberal David Schweikert announced that US soldiers ought to be tried as war criminals. Things are getting crazy. They’re about to get more busy.

We’ve heard that Laura Knaperek and her team are set to roll into action this week. GOP sources indicate that Knaperek is ready to “win the war of ideas” and outline conservative policy proposals that distinguish her from other candidates and the liberal Harry Mitchell.

Stay tuned...

Liberal Schweikert: US Soliders Should Face War Crimes Charges

In yet another example of how out of touch David Schweikert is with conservative values, Schweikert is arguing that US soldiers be accountable to international tribunals for their actions in a war. Schweikert said that Democrat General Wesley Clark should “face a war crimes tribunal for unfairly targeting civilians during his tenure as the NATO commander during the Bosnian Conflict.”

Schweikert, in a press release, said that the US should follow Amnesty International’s recommendations.

There has been no response from Schweikert’s opponents — Laura Knaperek, Susan Bitter Smith, Mark Anderson or Jim Ogsbury. There has been no indication that any of them will follow Schweikert’s un-American position.

Shame on Schweikert for arguing that US soldiers should be held accountable to other countries and imprisoned at the Hague.

Bitter Smith Needs to Embrace Conservative Principles and Endorse the Fair Tax

Susan Bitter Smith has tried to say that she’s a “real conservative” when it comes to the issue of taxes. We’ve said before that Bitter Smith isn’t a “real conservative” when it comes to many issues important to conservative voters, but Bitter Smith is banking on winning the Republican primary by playing to only fiscal conservatives.

Bitter Smith signed the Americans for Tax Reform pledge not to raise taxes and was endorsed by conservatives Jean McGrath and Joe Arpaio. Bitter Smith needs to show that she is a real fiscal conservative by joining David Schweikert and endorsing the Fair Tax.

If she’s going to out-fiscal-conservative Schweikert who has been endorsed by the Club for Growth she will need to join Schweikert and embrace the fair tax.

Pro-earmark Jim Ogsbury is not a fiscal conservative. Like Susan, Laura Knaperek and State legislator Mark Anderson have an opportunity to make a name for themselves as conservatives who will stand up for principled economics.

C’mon, Susan, join David by rejecting the repressive income tax and endorse the Fair Tax.

Knaperek, Schweikert Ruining It for Bitter Smith

Last week, JD Hayworth broke the news on his radio show that the Democrat Party has been sending a spy to hunt down Laura Knaperek and David Schweikert. Video taping the opponent has become a trick of the trade for some time, but Laura and David – whose campaigns are struggling – used the opportunity to denounce video taping candidates and pledged that they won’t use video cameras to track down Harry Mitchell.

It was a big mistake that may be costly for the likely nominee… Susan Bitter Smith… who will do “whatever it takes” to win. The probably is that if Susan has anybody track Mitchell, she’ll be practicing that Knaperek and Schweikert have denounced as “dirty politics.”

Sean McCaffrey at State Party said he also thinks video taping opponents is sleazy.

While Bitter Smith is willing to cheat, lie, and steal to win this thing (which we support) Knaperek and Schweikert clearly don’t have what it takes. Do Jim Ogsbury and Mark Anderson?

Bitter Smith Shows Schweikert Who's Boss

We said it earlier, but nobody believed us: Susan Bitter Smith stands a good chance in this race because she will claw, fight and use any tactic -- no matter how severe -- to win.

Not only is Susan willing to make up stories to distract the media from her lobbyist career, she has signaled that she is going to criticize David Schweikert's LACK OF LOBBYING experience as a weakness that shows he can't be effective.

BRILLIANT!

If Bitter Smith has been able to do that in such a short period of time, Laura Knaperek and Mark Anderson ought to be scared too! Who knows, maybe Jim Ogsbury will make the case that you really have to be a Washington lobbyist to have real experience, but we doubt it.

Bitter Smith is taking it an extra step by trying to embrace Schweikert for his strengths -- strong, conservative principles. Despite her LIBERAL record, she told CQ this week that Schweikert's "stances did not drastically differently from hers on the major issues."

What was Schweikert's response? SILENCE. He's essentially going to allow her to claim to be a conservative without fighting back.

Bitter Smith may not be a real conservative like she claims, but she's certainly more of a man than Schweikert.

What Is Laura Knaperek Doing?

Of the six candidates running to defeat Harry Mitchell, former state legislator Laura Knaperek may have the most solid conservative credentials. Her candidacy inspires those looking for a strong anti-abortion activist to serve us in Congress. In fact, a recent poll indicated that she has a better shot to defeat Mitchell than David Schweikert.

The problem is that she’s not doing anything. While Jim Ogsbury has been phone banking, and having his creepy loyalists blog about it, Knaperek’s campaign has been silent. Get to work, Laura. We could use a conservative like you!

Schweikert Takes Aim, Fires at Susan Bitter Smith and Jim Ogsbury

It was great when David Schweikert, the candidate that refuses to answer questions, held a fundraiser affirming his belief in our right to bear arms.

Now we know who he's visualizing for target practice... opponents Susan Bitter Smith and Jim Ogsbury.

Ending what had so far been a civil campaign, Schweikert drew first blood by questioning the integrity of Bitter Smith and Ogsbury in a NATIONAL PUBLICATION.

Attend an Ogsbury Phone Bank, Degrade Young Girls

As bloggers, we love to read blogs. This weekend we read someone else’s blog and learned that if we phone bank for Jim Ogsbury, not only will we get to meet a Republican candidate that donates his lobbyist money to baby killers, but that we’ll also get to meet a volunteer that’s a Star Wars nerd who claims an obsession for actress Keira Knightley, who looks 12 years old.

Yes, this blogger, let’s call him No Family Values Volunteer or NFVV for short even boasts of loving Disney movies on his profile. It's a male. Which could also mean that he supports 15-year-old Hannah Montana posing nude for some leftist magazine (Vanity Fair). That Hannah Montana show is geared toward young girls, but encourages them to have sex by showing the main character kiss boys and strike age-inappropriate poses, all of which have been since posted on the internet.

Are those “real conservative” values, which Ogsbury and his cohorts claim to uphold? No, but they are Ogsbury values.

We challenge Ogbsury to inject family values into his campaign and refuse to allow men who stalk young girls work for his campaign. If he doesn’t, he only proves he is the same as the anti-family liberal candidates he gives thousands of dollars to.

Good Thing Hatch-Miller Dropped Out

Arizona Corporation Commissions Jeff Hatch-Miller and Kris Mayes have written a letter to Congress asking that legislators reject the free market by extending the liberal solar tax credits for companies like APS to build solar plants on the taxpayers’ back.

Hatch-Miller was a candidate for the CD-5 race, but dropped out. He probably realized that he in a deep field, he was one of the least conservative candidates, and that it would be unlikely he could win support.

Thankfully four of the five GOP candidates who are still running have voiced their opposition to the solar tax credits, choosing instead to leave energy investments where they belong: in the free market. The fact that Laura Knaperek, Susan Bitter Smith, Mark Anderson and Jim Ogsbury have embraced the free market on this important issue is a good sign for Republican primary voters.

We only wish David Schweikert had taken the opportunity to embrace the free market as well.

Pro-Earmark Congressman Endorses Pro-Earmark Ogsbury

A lot can be said about congressional candidate Jim Ogsbury. He's an unabashed moderate who donated hundreds of dollars to pro-abortion Democrats like Ed Pastor, Gabrielle Giffords, David Obey, Patty Murray and Elaine Richards. (He gave money to Giffords when she was running against Randy Graf.)

But perhaps nothing demonstrates more Ogsbury's lack of conservative credentials than his accepting an endorsement from Tucson Congressman Jim Kolbe. (Remember, the liberal left-wing Kolbe retired ONLY because he knew he could not escape a primary challenge from Graf.)

In Congress, Kolbe was the biggest pork barrel spender of them all. For all the good that John Shadegg, Jeff Flake, and John McCain tried to do on the earmark side, Kolbe would screw it up. Ask the people in Tucson about all of the pork barrel spending down there.

Well, Jim Ogsbury has embraced pork barrel spending. Laura Knaperek has not. She wants to get rid of it.

Mark Anderson wants to get rid of pork. All of it. David Schweikert says he's against it too, but he refuses to hold himself accountable to voters, so there is reason to question his commitment to conservatism.

Ogsbury's endorsement doesn't show that he can win, only that he's promising to uphold Kolbe's long standing record of thwarting conservatism.
